Jeff spent his early childhood years in Mohawk, New York. He attended high school in Tiverton, RI, and graduated from the University of Rhode Island. He has two master degrees - one from U.R.I., and the other from Providence College.

Jeff lives in the Arnolda Colony in Charlestown with his wife, Nancy, and their three children. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the South County Conservancy, and is a member of the Narragansett Lions Club.

Jeff enjoys golf, tennis, and relaxing on Ninigret Pond.
